green and pink

three little pink-dotted peas
went for a walk and met a cheese
"good day"- they said, polite as they were
"have you met the pink-stripy pear?"

"my pardon, no" said cheese and went his way
too odd these creatures to him were they

so on they went, the funny peas
never seen any before like these
they met a hen and asked her then
"we're looking for pinkish-green cherry-fries,fried in a pan"

"i haven't seen anything ever alike"
the hen said and straightly jumped onto her bike
the peas, happily jumping downhill-up,uphill-down
they came to find pink-greenish-checked cookies in town

there again they bumped right into the cheese
who in this moment really wasn't at ease
"o please, you peas, don't ask me why-
i cannot see you, cause color-blind am I.
